Two federal ministers of the PML-N clashed in the parliament

Islamabad: During the National Assembly session, two federal ministers of the PML-N clashed in the parliament.

According to ARY News, during the National Assembly session, there was a heated exchange of words and abuse between the PML-N ministers, Marriyum Aurangzeb and Javed Latif.

During this time, the Attorney General Naeem Bukhari, Kamar Zaman Kaira and Agha Rafiqueullah saved the situation.

Sources reported that Javed Latif was not allowed to speak in the parliament which led to the heated exchange of words.

It is worth noting that earlier in the National Assembly session, other members including the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Bilawal Bhutto had addressed the session.

Ishaq Dar said that the court’s decision should be respected and that funds cannot be allocated for Punjab elections by violating the constitution.

He said that if the assemblies of Punjab and KPK were not dissolved, the situation would not have been so bad and elections would have been held simultaneously in the country. The analysis of the assemblies was an attempt to create chaos in the country.

He said that according to the Election Commission, the elections would cost Rs. 47.4 billion and other expenses would be Rs. 14 billion, bringing the total expenditure on general elections to over Rs. 61 billion.
