Karachi: The heatwave continues in the city of Quaid since the past few days. According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi will remain hot today as well. The department has also stated that the heatwave is likely to continue for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has explained that the increase in heat is due to the winds blowing from the northwest in Karachi. Currently, there is no possibility of rain in the city for the next few days. The department has stated that the temperature in the morning in the city remains at 30 degrees Celsius, but it is possible for the temperature to remain between 36 to 38 degrees Celsius during the day. On the other hand, in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is a possibility of dry weather, partial cloudiness, and hot temperatures. However, rain is expected in areas like Dir, Swat, Charsadda, Peshawar, Kohat, Chitral, and Karam.
