Usman Buzdar once again summoned by NAB in assets beyond means case

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has once again summoned former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in the assets beyond means case.

According to details, NAB has summoned Usman Buzdar on May 9 at 11 am after the NAB investigation team failed to satisfy regarding the case.

NAB said that Usman Buzdar has been asked to provide answers to a questionnaire consisting of 30 questions.

In addition to the inauguration of projects worth Rs. 40 billion in a single day, including the construction of dams, DJ Khan, a favorable response has also been sought from people regarding the construction of the dam.

It should be noted that on May 2, assets beyond means case against former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was presented at the NAB office.

Earlier, a reply was sought from Usman Buzdar on the previous appearance, but Usman Buzdar had apologized for not answering the questionnaire in the previous appearance.

Sources said that NAB authorities have also asked for details of the Tonsa and DJ Khan development funds, while also seeking records of visible front men from Usman Buzdar.
