In an interview with the local media, Misbah said that Babar Azam has the potential to break all records as a captain and a cricketer.
The former captain believes that Babar is a fantastic player in all three formats and after Mohammad Yousuf, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Saeed Anwar, and Zaheer Abbas, he is one of Pakistan’s best batsmen of all time.
He stated that it has been a long time since Pakistan had a player who has been outstanding in all three formats, and Babar’s technique, beauty, and the runs he scores make him one of the world’s best players.
Misbah also said that if Babar continues to play for the next eight to ten years, he has the ability to achieve what Virat Kohli has done for India.
