WhatsApp messaging service, which is owned by Facebook, has rolled out a payment system that will allow WhatsApp users to send money within a chat to others. The most interesting part is, the payment can be attached as a video or a picture is attached.
WhatsApp rolls out Brazilian UPI payment system. The ability to pay will be for each WhatsApp user to pay a company directly. One reason that the feature is being rolled out in Brazil is because of the country’s 120 million active individual users.
The feature was officially revealed today by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, via his Facebook post.
