Mumbai: The release date of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ was postponed by a day, and the new date has now been announced.
According to media reports, the film ‘Pathan’ was scheduled to be released in cinemas on June 2, but the filmmakers suddenly decided to change the date and now it will be released on September 7 in India and other countries.
In the film produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production company ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’, the superstar will be seen performing action, while co-actors Nain Tara and Vajay Sethupathi will also show their acting skills. Its producer is the superstar’s wife Gauri Khan, while the director is Atlee Kumar.
The actor released a new motion poster of the film on Instagram, in which a person can be seen jumping with someone below. His entire body is covered in bandages.
Yesterday, Indian media claimed that the filmmakers had postponed the release of ‘Pathan’, but in fact, the production team had asked for more time to use visual effects (VFX) in the film so that it could compete with super hit films.
According to media reports, the work of improving visual effects in the film will be completed in May. If the film is released in August, its chances of success are low because there are other big films scheduled for release in the same month.
