Why did the police stop A.R. Rahman’s concert?

Pune: During the ongoing concert of famous Indian musician A.R. Rahman, the police suddenly arrived and stopped the program.

According to reports in the Indian media, Rahman’s concert was taking place in the city of Pune, in the state of Maharashtra, where a large number of people had gathered to listen to him.

Local police arrived at the concert and asked the organizers to stop the program, but they did not receive a response. A police officer was forced to go on stage and signal to stop the music.

In fact, the Supreme Court has imposed a ban on playing music in loudspeakers after 10 pm. The concert had crossed the court’s deadline, which forced the police to take action.

The police officer who went on stage, Satyosh Patil, said in a media interview that he contacted the organizers, but did not receive a response. He had to go on stage to fulfill his duty.

On the other hand, the musician himself posted a video of the concert on Twitter, in which the police officer can be seen coming on stage and stopping the program.
