A tragic incident has occurred with the wife of an Indian cricketer. According to reports from the Indian media, the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Nitish Rana’s wife, Sanchi Rana, was attacked by two unknown assailants on the night of May 4 while she was alone at home.
The attackers followed Sanchi Rana’s car and stopped it in front of a motorcycle. Later, the attackers also damaged the car.
After reaching home, Sanchi Rana filed a complaint via email, but the police advised her to drop the case as she had already reached home safely.
However, when Sanchi Rana uploaded a video on Instagram about the disappointing response, the police took action and immediately filed a case against the assailants.
The police have now arrested both attackers and are conducting an investigation.
