Islam is built upon five pillars: bearing witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing prayer, paying Zakat, fasting Ramadan, and performing Hajj.

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Shall I not tell you of that by which Allah erases sins and raises ranks?' They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Performing Wudu thoroughly despite difficulties, taking many steps to the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after the prayer. That is the Ribat, that is the Ribat.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Islam is built upon five pillars: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing prayer, paying Zakat, making the pilgrimage to the House, and fasting in Ramadan.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever fasts Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, all his past sins will be forgiven.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. He draws near and then boasts about them to the angels.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Your smile is charity. Your commanding good and forbidding evil is charity. Your guiding someone who is lost is charity. Your removing harm from the road is charity. Your lending to someone in need is charity. Your words of kindness are charity.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'The most beloved deed to Allah is the most consistent one, even if it is small.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah has angels who roam the roads looking for people of dhikr. When they find people remembering Allah, they surround them with their wings until they reach the sky.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Seeking knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'The highest people in degrees in Paradise will be those who seek knowledge and act upon it.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'The best among you are those who have the best character.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His servant than one who finds his lost camel after having given up hope of finding it.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for all of his affairs are good, and that applies to no one except the believer. If something good happens to him, he is thankful, and that is good for him. And if something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience, and that is good for him.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Spending charity does not decrease wealth.'

The Prophet said: 'When someone with whose religion and character you are satisfied asks to marry your daughter, comply with his request. If you do not do so, there will be widespread corruption in the land.'

The Prophet said: 'The strong person is not the one who can wrestle, but the strong person is the one who controls himself when he is angry.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah is happier with the repentance of His slave than one of you who is on his camel in a waterless desert, and it gets away from him with his food and drink. He despairs of finding it, so he goes to a tree and lies down in its shade, having lost hope of ever finding his camel. Then while he is in that state, there it is, standing before him! He takes hold of its reins and says out of extreme joy: O Allah, You are my servant and I am Your Lord!' He makes a mistake out of sheer joy.'

The Messenger of Allah said: 'When you sit in gatherings where you remember Allah, angels surround you, mercy covers you, and Allah mentions you among those who are with Him.'
