Ahmed Ali Butt

Ahmed Ali Butt is a Pakistani actor, comedian, host and singer, known for his versatility across film, television and the stage. Born on 8 June 1975 in Karachi, he is the grandson of the legendary film actor Agha Talish, and entertainment runs in his family. He rose to fame in the 2000s as a video jockey and stage performer before cementing his name as one of the country's finest comic actors.

Ahmed became a household name with the popular sitcom Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain (2009), in which he played the memorable character Rindoo. He made his film debut with Janaan (2016), followed by Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017), Load Wedding (2018) and the crime comedy Money Back Guarantee (2022). In addition to acting, he has hosted major award shows and Ramadan transmissions, and has released comic music singles that went viral.

Personal life

Ahmed married model Fatima Khan in 2005, and the couple has a daughter. Known for his quick wit and improvisational skill, he is one of the busiest performers in Pakistan, working steadily across television comedy, film and live shows, and he is regarded as one of the finest comic actors of his generation.
