Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun (born 8 April 1983) is an Indian actor who works primarily in Telugu cinema. Known as "Stylish Star" and "Icon Star," he is one of the biggest stars in South Indian cinema and has gained pan-Indian fame through his action films. His portrayal of Pushpa Raj in the "Pushpa" franchise (2021-2024) made him a nationwide phenomenon. Born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Arjun comes from a film family — his father Allu Aravind is a renowned film producer, and his uncle Chiranjeevi is one of Telugu cinema's biggest legends. He made his debut with "Arya" (2004), which was a critical and commercial success. He went on to star in films like "Arya 2" (2009), "Vedam" (2010), "Julayi" (2012), "Race Gurram" (2014), "Sarrainodu" (2016), and "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" (2020). His biggest breakthrough came with "Pushpa: The Rise" (2021), directed by Sukumar. The film's dialogue, music (especially "Oo Antava" and "Srivalli"), and Arjun's raw performance as a sandalwood smuggler became a cultural phenomenon. "Pushpa 2: The Rule" (2024) became one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time, crossing ₹1,800 crore worldwide. The film's "Jathara" sequence and Arjun's action sequences went viral globally. Arjun's success with "Pushpa" has bridged the gap between South Indian and Hindi cinema, contributing to the pan-Indian film movement. He is known for his dedication to fitness and his ability to undergo dramatic physical transformations for his roles.
