Anisul Hoque

Anisul Hoque, born on January 1, 1966, in Gaibandha, Bangladesh, is a prominent Bangladeshi journalist, author, and screenwriter. He is best known as the writer of the screenplay for 'Hawa' (2022), one of the highest-grossing Bangladeshi films. Anisul has been a journalist for over three decades, working with major Bangladeshi newspapers and media outlets. He has written several novels including 'Mohanagar' which was adapted into a critically acclaimed web series. Anisul is known for his sharp social commentary and his ability to create compelling narratives that reflect the complexities of Bangladeshi society.
