Imran Abbas

Imran Abbas is a Pakistani actor, model and architect who became one of the most recognisable faces of Pakistani television and later ventured into films. Born on 11 March 1977 in Islamabad, he initially trained as an architect at the National College of Arts in Lahore, and practised the profession before the entertainment industry came calling.

Career

Imran made his acting debut in 2003 with the classic drama Umrao Jaan Ada, in which he played the role of Faiz Ali alongside Samina Peerzada. He gained further fame with Khuda Aur Mohabbat (2011), a supernatural romance that became one of the biggest hits of its time, and its sequel in 2016. His other notable dramas include Alvida, Meray Qatil Mere Dildar, Daldal (2021) and Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri (2024). He made his film debut with Jalaibee (2015), followed by Azad (2016) and Balu Mahi (2017).

Beyond acting

Imran is also a practising architect, having designed projects in the UAE, and is a trained singer who occasionally records music. He has consistently featured in international lists of the most handsome men from Pakistan and has a massive global following, particularly in the Middle East and South Asia. Known for his sophisticated public persona and philanthropy, he remains one of Pakistan's most enduring male stars.
