Karim Ansarifard

Karim Ansarifard, born on April 3, 1990, in Ardabil, Iran, is an experienced Iranian striker known for his intelligent positioning, clinical finishing, and aerial ability. He began his career at Saipa in the Iranian Pro League before moving to Osasuna in Spain's La Liga, becoming one of the few Iranians to play in the Spanish top flight. Ansarifard also played for PAOK in Greece, Nottingham Forest in England, and AEK Athens, where he won the Greek league title. For Iran's national team, Ansarifard has scored over 30 goals in international matches and was part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad. He is known for his composure in front of goal and ability to score crucial goals in high-pressure situations. His goal against Portugal in the 2018 World Cup, which helped Iran draw 1-1, is remembered as one of the most important goals in Iranian football history.
