Biography

Rohana Weerasinghe is a legendary Sri Lankan guitarist, composer, and singer who has been a pioneer in bringing Western-style guitar music to Sri Lankan popular culture. He is known for his extraordinary guitar skills and has been the backbone of several iconic Sri Lankan musical groups. Rohana's compositions have been featured in numerous films and albums. He is particularly famous for his work in creating the unique Sri Lankan sound that blends Western and Eastern musical traditions. His guitar solos are considered some of the finest in South Asian music.
