Saeid Marouf

Saeid Marouf, born on October 20, 1985, in Iran, is widely considered the greatest setter in Asian volleyball history and one of the best in the world. His exceptional court vision, precise setting, and leadership have been central to Iran's rise as a volleyball powerhouse. Marouf has played for top clubs in Iran, Turkey, Italy, and Russia, winning league titles and individual awards in multiple countries. For the Iranian national team, he has been the heartbeat of the squad for over a decade, setting up countless winning plays in Asian Championships, World Championships, and the Olympic Games. His ability to read the game and deliver perfect sets under pressure has earned him comparisons to the world's elite setters. Marouf has won multiple Asian Championship gold medals with Iran and has been named Best Setter at numerous international tournaments.
