Sajal Aly

Sajal Aly is one of Pakistan's most accomplished and critically acclaimed actresses, known for the emotional depth she brings to every role. Born on 26 January 1994 in Lahore, she was raised by her mother after her father's early death, and began acting as a teenager to support her family. She made her debut in 2009 with Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain on Hum TV.

Television career

Sajal's early years saw her in a string of successful serials including Chandni, Meray Qatil Mere Dildar and Jugnoo. She delivered one of her most acclaimed performances in O Rangreza (2017), which earned her the Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress, and followed it with the period drama Aangan (2018), winning the Hum Award for Best Actress. In 2020, Sajal married actor Ahad Raza Mir; the couple separated in 2023 and their divorce was finalised in 2024.
