Talha Yunus

Talha Yunus is a Pakistani rapper and songwriter, best known as one half of the hip-hop duo Young Stunners alongside Talha Anjum. Born in Karachi, he partnered with Anjum in the mid-2010s, and together they built Pakistan's most successful rap act from the ground up, releasing music independently and growing a devoted fanbase through the internet.

Career

Talha Yunus brought melodic hooks and dynamic flow to the duo's sound, contributing to breakthrough tracks like Gumaan and the record-breaking Afsanay. He has also released solo material and collaborations, and has performed alongside Anjum at sold-out shows in Pakistan, the UAE, the UK and North America. His writing frequently explores ambition, friendship and the realities of life in Karachi.

Influence

Together with his partner, Talha Yunus is credited with bringing Urdu hip-hop into the Pakistani mainstream and inspiring a generation of young rappers. He continues to write, record and perform, and remains one of the most recognisable voices in South Asian rap.
