Young Stunners

Young Stunners is Pakistan's most successful hip-hop duo, consisting of Talha Anjum and Talha Yunus, both from Karachi. The duo began releasing music in the mid-2010s, pioneering Urdu rap and hip-hop at a time when the genre had little mainstream presence in Pakistan.

Rise to the top

Young Stunners built a massive underground following with tracks like Gumaan and Burberry, and broke into the mainstream with Afsanay (2021), a reflective track that became one of the most-streamed Pakistani songs of its era. Their bilingual wordplay, sharp social commentary and emotional depth set them apart, and they have headlined concerts across Pakistan, the UAE, the UK and North America. Talha Anjum's solo career has also flourished, while Talha Yunus continues to collaborate and release solo material.

Legacy

Young Stunners are widely credited with legitimising hip-hop in Pakistan and inspiring a new wave of young rappers. They have collaborated with international artists, been featured in major editorial playlists, and remain the standard-bearers of Pakistani rap, with a devoted following that spans the diaspora.
